Give your child the gift of learning to love cycling with a Pedalheads bike camp. From training wheels to trails, Pedalheads has safe, fun and challenging bike camps for children ages two to 12. For 18 years Pedalheads has taught over 100,000 children to ride using a unique and effective teaching method, combined with small classes and exceptional instructors. You’ll be amazed at how this fun and comprehensive program can open up a world of opportunities for a lifetime of cycling.

Pedalheads Bike Camps Running

Camps run Monday to Friday in June and over the summer, beginning on June 3 and wrapping up on August 30. Choose between an after school camps (from 4 pm to 6:30 pm), a morning camps (9:30 am to 12 pm), afternoon camps (1 pm to 3:30 pm) and all-day Camps (9 am to 4 pm, at select locations). There are several different programs to choose from, depending on your child’s age and skill level. Before and after care is available for all-day camps.

Registration begins on February 26 at 9 am both through the Pedalheads website or by calling 1-888-886-6464. Camps will be held at Rosemont, Lakeview, Wildwood, JCC, Shawnessy, and Scenic Acres locations — visit the website for site specific information.     I’m a single parent and I would love for my son to win this as I simply can’t afford it. My son has got a bike with trainering wheels right now and I’d love to remove them for him this summer

  12. Oh, to get those training wheels off! I pedal the Bow River pathway with my son on his bike. We pedal everywhere with him on the trailer bike. :)

    We love to bike along the Bow River on their pathway systems. My daughter, being a bit young at 4, loves biking at the plaza at Eau Claire Market.

  26. We don’t bike much as of yet, my 6 yr old needs to learn to ride first. We all have bikes are are willing… This class would be very helpful!

    I LOVE cycling in Bowmont Park in Silver Springs, but we also love taking our kids along the Edworthy Pathway – they clear it so well, we can even take them in the winter!

    Whoops – answered the wrong question. Calgary has some great bike paths and one is near our house. It’s nice and flat and straight and a great place for my 5-year-old to practice.

  47. Our favourite place to bike is close to out backyard – Confederation Park!

  48. We bought my son a bike last fall and he hasn’t had the chance to ride it. But he loved doing the 5km loop around Silverado on his stride bike so this would be great for him!
