City of Calgary Offers Free Fun in its Parks During Summer Holidays!

Calgary Park 'n Play and Stay 'n Play free summer recreation programs.

Park n’ Play is a free outdoor drop-in program for children aged 6 to 12. Drop your kids off and they’ll keep busy with loads of activities, games, and crafts. Organizers divide the kids into two age groups where possible (ages 6-8 and 9-12), so that everyone can take part in age appropriate activities. Park n’ Play runs daily from 10 am to 3:30 pm; see schedule for dates/locations where the program is being held.

If your child is younger than six, they can take part in Stay n’ Play, a free outdoor drop-in program for children aged 3 to 5. Adult participation in the programs is mandatory, so parents or caregivers must accompany kids throughout the duration of the program. For the best program experience and supervision of your child, it’s strongly recommended that parents/guardians attend the program with no more than two children within this age group. Stay n’ Play run daily from 10 am to noon; see schedule for dates/locations where the program is being held.

Dates/locations for the 2015 Park n’ Play and Stay n’ Play programs are as follows:

Park 'n Play Calgary AB 2015

For more information on these programs, be sure to read the program FAQs and the program handbook. These are drop-in programs.
