Beginning May 16 through September 7, the historical village will be open 7 days a week from 9:30am to 5:00pm, then weekends only until October 12.

Fort Calgary is Calgary's museum. It tells the story of the history of the Mounted Police and the settlement of the people of Calgary. it s a reconstructed 1875 fort site. It was reconstructed in 1975 and because of the significant archaeologigal finds it was declared a national and provincial historic site. Some of the activities you can experience at Fort Calgary include trying on a North West Mounted Police uniform, riding a virtual street car and experiencing a jail cell from the inside!
For history buffs, this is a can't miss attraction.

This is an excellent year round facility where you can go biking in the summer and skiing and boarding in the winter all at very reasonable prices.
The Calgary Corn Maze is Calgary's first maze! It is located off Highway 22x in south Calgary. The maze takes anywhere from 30 minutes to 75 minutes depending if you take the leisure maze or the adventure maze and how quickly you go! There are a few cheat sheets with markers to help guide you along the way. In addition to this amazing maze, there is a play area set up for younger kids with bales of hay to slide down, go-carts, mini mazes and a petting zoo. The petting zoo animals are very tame and the sheep actually nuzzle you to pet them!
Directions: The Calgary Corn Maze is located 8 kilometers east of Deerfoot Trail, just south of Highway 22X. Watch for the signs and you can't miss it!
Take Highway 22X to Range Road 285 (there is a Burnco sign at this intersection) and turn south.
Drive approximately 2 kilometers to Township Road 224 and turn east.
