Free Movies at Westhills Cinemas

When: February 15th, 9am to 11:30am
Where: Galaxy Cineplex Odeon Westhills Cinemas - Westhills Shopping Centre

The morning will feature a selection of free movies as well as specially discounted concession items at the concession stand. Concession pricing will include $2 for regular-size popcorn and $2 for a regular-size fountain drink, with all concession proceeds donated to Starlight Children's Foundation. In addition, clowns and face painting will be available in the lobby for guests to enjoy!

In the afternoon and evening, guests will receive a free small popcorn with the purchase of a movie ticket as well as the opportunity to have their portraits drawn by a local caricature artist.

Winter Festival at Cardel Place

Chase away the winter blues...

Cardel Place, along with the City of Calgary, is hosting a FREE Family event from noon - 4:00pm at Cardel Place.
Some of the activities include: face painting
outdoor games
inflatable bouncers
public skating (bring your skates!)

Papa John's Family Day at the Oval

Share Monday, Feb. 15, 2010 from noon to 4 p.m. with your family at the Olympic Oval’s Papa John’s Family Fun Day!

This annual event includes;

Public skating on Calary's largest indoor skating rink

Celebrate Family Day and the Olympic Games by skating on Calgary's largest indoor skating rink while you watch Canada's Olympians on the big screen! You can also get your face painted, play games and win prizes!

Admission is FREE with a donation to the Calgary Food Bank and all proceeds from Papa John’s pizza sold at the event will go towards supporting the Calgary Dream Centre and the Olympic Oval’s cycling and short track speed skating programs.

This is a FREE public event open to families.

The Reel Fun Film Festival

In Feb. 2010, Calgary families will be treated to the 4th annual Reel Fun Film Festival (RFFF). The RFFF showcases 7 days of the finest international award winning films for families.

On Family Day, the RFFF Open House Celebration will take place at the newly opened Cardel Theatre. Alberta film professionals will provide festival goers with a dynamic and exciting day of interactive film making activities and screenings.
